The fluid to be heated can vary greatly from project to project and American Heating Company engineers can design Tank Heating Coils for any of these projects, even when materials such as stainless steel must be utilized. These coils can also be designed to fit into an existing tank manway or into any specialty tank be it vertical or horizontal.
Unlike many other designs that utilize longitudinal fins, our Tank Heating Coils are manufactured with helically wounds fins. Experience has shown that, over time, the horizontally placed helically wound fin tubes promote better heat transfer and cause that more and more customers are switching to American Heating Company for their Tank Heating Coil applications. Coils can be built with schedule 40 or schedule 80 tubes and can be supplied in carbon steal, stainless steal or a variety of materials. These coils can be code stamped to ASME Secion VIII if required. We offer a line of bare tube tank heating coils for highly viscous Polymer tanks. American Heating Company can also supply finned tube heating coils with 4 or 5 fins per inch for less viscous fluids.
